While all privacy policies start out saying this, privacy really is important to me, especially on the internet. I (Michael Picher) promise to respect your privacy and will not share any of your personal information with anyone beyond the scope of the services that I am providing through my website. On this page, I will do my best to explain what information is collected, why it is collected, and how you can opt out in certain situations (hopefully in more detail than is actually necessary).      In most cases, I only collect or have access to the following personal information (please note that other third party websites may require additional personal information, which you can read more about further down this page):

          - Your Email address

          - Your name

     Because this website is hosted on the Wix.com platform, its data, including any information that you provide through my website, may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. Wix stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

     Only individuals who are at least 15 years old my use the services provided through my website, including, but limited to, contact and subscription forms.

 

Email List

     By subscribing to my Email List, you give me permission to send you periodic Emails relating to my music and my sample libraries. My Email List operates only through an Email marketing service provided by Wix.com. You can cancel your subscription, by following the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each Email sent through this service or by contacting me. After canceling your subscription, your Email address will be removed from the Contact List of my Wix account. If for some reason, I switch to a different Email marketing service, you will be notified before the change and given the opportunity to unsubscribe, should not like the new service provider.
 

Contact Form & Email

     When you use the contact form, on the Contact page of this website, your Email address is required, so I can respond to your message, and will be stored by both Wix.com and myself. Your name also may be indirectly collected, if you voluntarily provide it as part of your message or it is linked to your Email address. The same goes for any other personal information that you voluntarily provide, such as your home address or phone number (which is not required in most situations). Once I receive your message through the contact form, or you send me an Email directly, any further correspondence will be conducted through Email.

     I use ProtonMail as my Email provider, which supports end-to-end encryption, as well as encrypts all Email data, when it is at rest on their servers. The disk inside the computer that I use for Email correspondence is also encrypted, along with any backup drives. The same is true for my phone.
 

Sales and Freelance/Commissions

     Sales of my sample libraries area conducted on and through Payhip.com, in accordance with their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Your Email address is required by Payhip to download any of my sample libraries and may be used to contact you (through the Email Updates feature provided by Payhip.com) when newer versions of my sample libraries are available. You can opt out of these updates by not checking the "Send me product updates and offers via email" option at the time of purchase or by sending me a message through my Contact page. Your Email address may also be visible through notifucation Emails, sent to me by PayPal.com.

     Sales of my 3D prints are conducted on and through Shapeways.com, in accordance with their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

     Sales of my music, in the form of audio downloads, are conducted on and through Bandcamp.com, in accordance with their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

     Correspondence for any freelance work or commissions that I am asked to provide, will be conducted through Email, after I receive your message, either directly through Email or through my website's contact form. Payment for my services will only be conducted on and through PayPal.com, in accordance with their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Other personal information, such as your name (if it wasn't already voluntarily provided by you), home address, or phone number may visible to me through my PayPal account, if it is linked and made public through your PayPal account. Your Email address may also be visible through notification Emails, sent to me by PayPal.com.

     I do not collect, nor do I have any way to view your financial information (i.e. bank acount, credit/debit card, etc.), that you are required to provide when purchasing one of my sample libraries, 3D prints, or freelance/commission services. I do keep reciepts generated through Payhip.com, Shapeways.com, and PayPal.com, for tax purposes.

 

Visitor Analytics

     Visitor Analytics is a simple website analytics service which measures the traffic and visitors' general details of my website. Collecting these statistics, I can make my website visitors' experience better (e.g. which pages they visit and when, where they are approximately located, where does a user land first or if they are coming from a specific referral).

     Basically, as a website owner using Visitor Analytics, I am using cookies to collect data about my website's visitors' device type and screen size, approximate location, browser, OS, page visits, bounce rate, conversions and popular content on the website. All this data is pseudonymized and Visitor Analytics will never use the collected data to identify individual users or to match it with additional information on an individual user. Each visitor has control over the placement of cookies.
